My view is that at a younger age your optimism is more and you have more imagination etc. You have less bias.

I do not know what the future holds, but I do know that I’m going to be positively surprised.

The world is full of hopeful analogies and handsome, dubious eggs, called possibilities.

In all my work, I try to say – ‘You may be given a load of sour lemons, why not try to make a dozen lemon meringue pies?’

I’m reasonably optimistic about the future, especially the future of the United States – for the century, at least.

Nothing is permanent in this wicked world – not even our troubles.

I am an optimist. It does not seem too much use being anything else.

There is no sadder sight than a young pessimist.

But who cares? I can honestly look back and realize that everything happened for a reason. Everything that fell apart has fallen back into place beautifully and magically.

I’m not counting any chickens.
