The price of greatness is responsibility.

Nelson Mandela is, for me, the single statesman in the world. The single statesman, in that literal sense, who is not solving all his problems with guns. It’s truly unbelievable.

If the American people really come to a settled belief that Bush lied us into war, his presidency will be over.

I wanted the influence. In the end I wasn’t very good at being a president. I looked out of the window and thought that the man cutting the lawn actually seemed to have more control over what he was doing.

Bush is no conservative.

Give me your trust and confidence, knowing that what I seek is for the good of Fiji, for the good of us all.

It’s passionately interesting for me that the things that I learned in a small town, in a very modest home, are just the things that I believe have won the election.
