Technology is nothing. What’s important is that you have a faith in people, that they’re basically good and smart, and if you give them tools, they’ll do wonderful things with them.

I am for people. I can’t help it.

In general, we’re a social network. I prefer that because I think it is focused on the people part of it – as opposed to some people call it social media, which I think focuses more on the content.

As individuals, people are inherently good. I have a somewhat more pessimistic view of people in groups. And I remain extremely concerned when I see what’s happening in our country, which is in many ways the luckiest place in the world. We don’t seem to be excited about making our country a better place for our kids.

San Francisco is a mad city – inhabited for the most part by perfectly insane people whose women are of a remarkable beauty.

I like people and I like them to like me, but I wear my heart where God put it, on the inside.

The photographer begins to feel big and bloated and so big he can’t walk through one of these doors because he gets a good byline; he gets notices all over the world and so forth; but they’re really – the important people are the people he photographs.

The greater intellect one has, the more originality one finds in men. Ordinary persons find no difference between men.

The only thing that could spoil a day was people. People were always the limiters of happiness except for the very few that were as good as spring itself.

We had so much fun in Ghana and they are really lovely people.
