The greatest victory is the victory over oneself.

As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world – that is the myth of the atomic age – as in being able to remake ourselves.

The first movie was mostly about George and Julia. This one is mostly about me and Catherine and our love story and our whole history. So it’s a very different movie.

The purpose of learning is growth, and our minds, unlike our bodies, can continue growing as we continue to live.
