I’ve always written. There’s a journal which I kept from about 9 years old. The man who gave it to me lived across the street from the store and kept it when my grandmother’s papers were destroyed. I’d written some essays. I loved poetry, still do. But I really, really loved it then.

Dear old days, i miss you.

I love those random memories that make me smile no matter whats going on in my life right now.

The news is just a reflection of the society we live in.

There are high spots in all of our lives , most of them have come about through encouragement from someone else. I don’t care how great, how famous or successful a man or woman may be, each hungers for applause.

Lest Arab governments be tempted out of sheer routine to rush into impulsive rejection, let me suggest that tragedy is not what men suffer but what they miss.

The rain began again. It fell heavily, easily, with no meaning or intention but the fulfilment of its own nature, which was to fall and fall.

It is strange how we hold on to the pieces of the past while we wait for our futures.

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

To be grateful for the love we have, we need to see how much we have been given.
